Family Vacation Time
I think all you need for a certified family vacation is a cramped car, hot weather, and a dash of (or lots of) stress. Fortunately for our summer family vacation, on which my entire family (parents, siblings, siblings-in-law, and nephew) were present, we only had the heat. We spent the week before the 4th in Orlando, spending time at Disney, and even more time by the pool. The highlight for us wasn’t really our 5 month old daughter’s seeing Mickey in person for the first time (she cared more about her ring toys) but was Sarah and I catching a show of Cirque du Soleil. For anybody who hasn’t seen it, it’s a must. Now that we’re home, we’re fighting to catch up on emails, editing, and of course, sleep.
We had a blast on our vacation in Florida, and can’t wait till we go again… in February.
