FISHKILL, NY

Grabbed this on Sunday while shooting a wedding with my good friend Sean Flanigan up in the town of Fishkill. It was a crazy weekend, which started in NYC on Friday, went to DC on Saturday, and ended an hour north of NYC on Sunday.

NYC W/ MJR

Friday Mustafah and I travelled up to NYC to hang out with our friends from MJR. We spent the day walking the city. Here are a few of my personal favs.
NEW FAMILY MEMBER

This past Wednesday I decided to take Sarah to the puppy store. She’s been nesting lately, and has been surfing the web just looking at puppies for a few weeks. I took her just to have some fun and see her freak out. Well, things didn’t work out that way, mostly because I GREATLY underestimated my ability to say no to 2 pairs of big watery, pleading eyes (Sarah’s and the puppy’s).
We named her “Bo”. She’s a 7 week old Miniature Dachshund that was the runt of the litter. She is S M A L L, and incredibly cute. We’ve been down in VA with family for the past several days and picked her up here. Our cats don’t know about her yet. We’re not sure how they’ll feel about the whole thing… but I can guess there won’t be a shortage of barking and hissing!!! Updates to come!
BLING SPOTTING!!!
August 10th last year Jon and I had the pleasure of covering Mark and Megan’s wedding in DC. Megan’s necklace for the day was not your typical wedding day jewelry. Her aunt is one of 13 women who own a GORGEOUS diamond necklace (Jewelia), more aptly described as bling. Megan’s aunt was kind enough to let Megan wear it for her big day. Check it out:

I found this hot little video featured on Yahoo!….small world:

“portfolio” book!
I’m excited to announce the launch of my first Blurb book. Hardcover 13×11 imagegwrap and featuring 49 black & white photographs, this book represents my work across the year 2008. Featured are essays on cowboys in Patagonia, crime in Central America, and the renown Penn Relays track & field competition here in the United States. It’d look tight on your coffee table.
The folks at Blurb liked it so much they’re using it for marketing.
You can preview the first 15 pages as well as order a copy online: portfolio by mustafah abdulaziz
