I can’t believe it’s been a year! This little girl turns 1 today. Watching her walk around the house with her toys, discovering something new in almost everything she tears to pieces, and can’t help but be amazed and incredibly thankful.
I love my baby girl, my funny little friend, Finlee.

Our daughter Finlee, who will turn 1 this coming Wednesday, has grown up in so many ways. Many of these areas of growth, I have to admit, do boggle the sensible male mind.
Her favorite game of late is to hide as many “treasures” or Pacifiers around the house as she can, and then, after a nap perhaps, reacquire those lost treasures, holding as many of them in her hands as possible.
After a recent hunt, I confronted her (camera in hand, to ensure an honest response) and asked her WHY she was so determined to end up in braces. She looked at me, gave the the cutest little giggle (captured above), and walked/crawled past me, leaving me with no answer.
Should I be afraid?
Since we spent Christmas with Sarah’s family down in VA, My parents and sister came up here for a couple of days.
Finlee loved the wrapping paper!

I very much enjoyed working with Cathy and Scott on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. I especially appreciated Joel Wiebner traveling down there with me and capturing so many great photos.
Congrats to the couple, and I can’t wait to work with you both on the album!
I was happy with how this candid portrait turned out. This fine lady was one of the caterers at a recent wedding.
The Holidays are finally past, but I wanted to post a few photos from them. We spent Christmas with family down in Hampton VA, so I tried to hide behind the camera to avoid being cornered by another one. After Christmas was over we drove back up to PA to spend time with my Mother in Law and to do some House Hunting (possible news on that front coming soon!!!!)
Well, we’ve come full circle, and we’re back down in Hampton. I’ve got a wedding tomorrow in Newport News VA. Then next week it’s off with Joel Wiebner to Paradise Island in the Bahamas for a Destination wedding that I booked from Chicago. When does the Winter season slow down???

Cathy and Scott will be getting married this coming January on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. It was a blast flying up to Chicago to spend an evening with them working on their engagement photos (featured above).
